2026 Floral Arranging Classes at Civil Alchemy
Our 2026 Floral Arranging Class Series continues through the fall, with three classes still available at Civil Alchemy. Led by our in-house florist, Grace Giesler, these hands-on sessions offer a relaxed introduction to seasonal floral design in a small, intimate setting.
Each class covers the fundamentals of working with fresh flowers, including how to properly cut and care for stems, build a balanced arrangement, and help flowers last longer. Guests will create their own seasonal arrangement to take home, using thoughtfully sourced flowers selected for the time of year.

Thursday, August 20 | 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
A late-summer session featuring flowers that reflect the season.
Thursday, September 10 | 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
A transition into early fall with seasonal flowers and a new approach to arranging.
Thursday, October 1 | 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
A fall floral arranging class focused on the flowers and textures of the season.
Each class is limited to 10 participants. All tools and materials are provided, including a vase for your finished arrangement. Participants will also receive 15% off in-store shopping during the class.
What to Expect
The classes are designed for beginners as well as those with some experience who would like to refine their approach to floral arranging. Grace will guide the group through the process while allowing plenty of time to work directly with the flowers.
The blooms will change with each class as the seasons progress. Reference images on the class listing show arrangements from previous sessions, but the flowers used will always reflect what is fresh and available at the time of the class.
Classes are held at Civil Alchemy at 8154 Big Bend Boulevard, Webster Groves, Missouri 63119.
Each ticket is for a single class on the date selected.
